Born in Portugal, Paula Rego is now recognised as one of Britain's leading artists. Her work is profound yet accessible, and deeply personal. This intimate film by acclaimed filmmaker Jake Auerbach follows the artist from her recent retrospective at the Reina Sofia in Madrid back to the privacy of her studio in London. The artist and filmmaker will be in conversation following the film.
