Results of New Research on Tudor Paintings 2007-8

Over the course of 2007-8 the curators and conservators at the National Portrait Gallery have undertaken research and technical analysis on twenty five Tudor paintings. The findings from some of these paintings are presented here in five case studies. With additional funding we hope to continue this work over a four year period.
