The National Portrait Gallery is a distinctive and stylish venue for corporate events. The Lerner Galleries are perfect for receptions, offering ample space within an attractive, engaging context. Other Galleries, with their rich historic associations, provide one of the most prestigious locations for a private dinner in London - particularly the elegantly refurbished Weldon Galleries, which host the Regency portraits.

Corporate Partnership
There are two levels of corporate partnership at the Gallery - Corporate Membership and Regency Partnership. Only Regency Partners are entitled to use the Weldon Galleries for events. Both are entitled to a 50% discount on Gallery hire as well as a range of other benefits (see Corporate Partnership options sheet for more details).

Venue Charges

  • The National Portrait Gallery is available for hire on the evenings of Monday - Wednesday from 6.30pm onwards.
  • The hire of the Gallery is exclusive to one client per evening but should the reception take place on more than one floor there will be an additional surcharge of £1000 + VAT.
  • The Portrait Restaurant is available for exclusive hire on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
  • The Ondaatje Wing Lecture Theatre is available for hire as part of an evening event.
  • The Gallery is also available for hire every week day morning for breakfast events.
